Now that sounds nice and summery dosen’t it? I have not tried these yet but I was thinking of our very own sugar cookies…and adding some dried pineapple bits, a little sweetened coconut and maybe some walnut bits! Yummy! I seem to be on a coconut path these days and can not get enough! I’ll let you know how these come out! I have a special group of tasters outside of my family who tell me the truth about my inventions! These are the wonderful people I work with at a local hospital!
LEARNING NEVER STOPS….and that is a good thing!
June 7th, 2012I went to an SBA class today and learned so much about all of the social media stuff that is available to me these days. Sometimes it takes a class or an article or just networking with someone to get my mind going in the right direction with Village Mixes…and how to continue to bring the best product to the market place. Business is such a fun thing to work in…it allows you to be creative in so many ways!

The Year of the BLOG
February 20th, 2012Okay, that’s it! I commit to write and share ideas at least weekly (if not more)! Looking at all kind of new recipes for Village Mixes although I have to say the news today about the price of gas going up has me a bit worried. Shipping to customers is already so expensive! I guess the secret is to try and buy local. Or make list so your shopping trips are less. Take care !

Fancy Food Show Success
July 13th, 2011Just returning from the show tonight. We had a great time. The show this year was in Washington DC and I have to say I liked the destination better then NY! Everyone was so friendly. We had a great booth space. Ann and Nancy did a great job with the set up and our booth as usual was very attractive..(I’ll be posting pictures in the next day or so). I’ll also be updated our thoughts on the post show follow up!
Fancy Food show updates
May 12th, 2011Ann, Nancy and myself are getting ready for our trip to Washington DC for the show. We compare our lists and start packing…think of new things to bring or change the lay out of our booth and unpack then repack…and then do it all again! This is an example of creative minds at work….. and we have a lot of fun! Our passion is to make Village Mixes a successful company while meeting our customers needs. I think we do a pretty good job considering our inexperience in business when we started working together. That just goes to prove…you can do anythin you put your mind to!
